Due to various constraints, Lounge by Zalando doesn’t currently offer a search bar. Users need to explore various sales to find their hidden gems.
As gathered in qualitative studies and onsite feedback, we found that Lounge users are frustrated with the overwhelming number of assortment and want better ways to find what they’re looking for.

Definition phase
Problem framing workshop
I organised and moderated a problem framing workshop where the team and I interviewed 6 experts to learn about the main problems found on the Catalog page.
Using their insights and other qualitative and quantitative research we gathered, we identified key issues and aligned on a singular “How might we” to serve as our goal to solve for.
